  • Fig Vine

    Botanical Name: Ficus pumila

    The fig vine is native to East Asia, but has become useful in southern Texas sceneries. It is a strong growing vine that has two types of leaves. The small leaves of the Fig Vines are no more than an inch.

    The Fig Tree is a popular fruit tree in Texas. It can grow naturally in the ground or in containers. Fig Trees are generally comprised of two crops: the Breba Crop and the Main Crop.

    The Firebush is a native shrub of Central American. It thrives best in full sun, so it has adapted quite nicely as a perennial for central and south Texas areas. It also does well as an annual for the north.
