Jasmine, Carolina

The Carolina Jasmine is a native of southeastern United States. The plant is widely used as a popular option for landscapes, but does contain toxins. All parts of the Carolina Jasmine contain a toxin that can be fatal if consumed.

This plant’s average growth is 20 feet. It is a popular choice for homeowner’s landscape because it grows well when regularly pruned. The flowers of the Carolina Jasmine appear in early spring and last for several weeks. They are brilliant yellow trumpet shaped flowers.
