The Blue Daze is a native of Brazil but does great in Texas heat. It does well as an annual in central to northern Texas. The herbaceous perennial grows up to three feet tall. The Blue Daze can be identified by its gray-green leaves and inch width blue flowers.
The Blue Daze appears from late spring to the first frost. It is ideal for coastal areas because it tolerates salt water well. It should be planted in sandy soils. Inadequate drainage can cause fungus problems with the Blue Daze.
